great movie! Being still and silent in nature encourages wildlife to return and be active, increasing your chances to observe and harvest if you are needing food.

Situational awareness.

People's lack of situational awareness is increasing exponentially. It's so dangerous that leaving my home is starting to fill me with dread.

Yes, cell phones have been killing it. People staring down all the time.

Situational awareness is not just for urban settings where most of this concentrated on. Noise in an urban setting can become a barrier but the lack of noise in a rural setting can be just as noisy if you don’t recognise the sounds of the environment and just a tip, having your mouth open will help your hearing. Learn the sounds of the countryside during the day and night near where you live. Visibility and smell also play a part, again during the day and at night. Learn how to move tactically with no lights and with lights because the environment will look different when using each. Touch can be painful if touching the wrong foliage so learn what will harm you or help heal you, this also applies to Barb wire fences and the like. Bastard Trees in South America have caused many a problem for the unsuspecting soldier, what’s going to pierce your body and cause you to become a liability? Movement, ghost walking at night is essential, foot placement, spoil, navigation etc. Just some quick thoughts. Hope that helps. Stay Dangerous Rock

In the 1977 version of Last of the Mohicans, Hawkeye tells his companions that, "In the wilderness a man protects himself with all five senses." This was similar to what you were saying and good advice.

Within the Book of Eli, there is ALSO a Christian (Jesus disciples) elements as well as he regularly "reads" the book that he carries and he walks/talks with God the Holy Spirit. He is a Levite, while perhaps only spiritually adopted into the Tribe of Levi, he IS a Levite.

Fast is slow, slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Repeat it and get comfortable with it. It isn't easy. I'm pretty sure that's what you're referring to.

@@EverydayTacticalVids Unless you can manifest some crazy amount of plot armor, nothing in the Book of Eli will help you in a survival situation.

The only thing I picked up was the pine needles to make tea, but I live on a island that doesn't look like anything you filmed 😑😆, yeah definitely stop, slow down and listen, it's worked for me as I got older, and when the younger people ask how you caught that 😐🫤🙄🤣🤣🤣🤙🤙🤙
