Every time Prof. Abou El Fadl speaks, I am compelled to write his words. He is able to capture and articulate complex phenomena through his language beautifully. He probably thinks language is never able to capture the essence of things felt spiritually and intellectually, as he once said. But I have always experienced that he succeeds in sharing the essence of things-notions better than anyone I know. A heartfelt thanks to the team who makes sure we get to benefit from the wisdom and knowledge shared! May God increase you further in acts of beauty, ameen.

The Shaykh refers to three different English translations along with the Arabic text. Because the three translations are limited, he provides his own commentary and translation with each aphorism. If you search "the book of wisdoms kitab al-hikam" on Amazon.com, the first three books that come up are the ones he refers to. :)
