Beautifully done look "behind the curtains", literally, of a touring Broadway show. Thanks for posting

I’m so happy to find this video so that I can show people a glimpse of what it’s like to do a load in of this scale.

Too bad the Angel Moroni statue at the top of the proscenium and the upper scrim of the planets were obscured in this venue.

Such serious music for an intentionally-silly musical

Really? The Australian tour has so far only been in Melbourne. They started around the start of this year and finishing November. Next stop would be Sydney for another year or so I'm sure... this would cost $$$$ and many man hours or days to disassemble and reassemble.

John L a tours set is built to be reassembled and disassembled in a short span and with as little number of people as possible. The Australian tour might be different, though. I think each stop on the Australian tour is being treated as a sit down run, while here in the US most stops are a week long.

I think this might be the same tour that came to the theatre I work at and it looks like top of load in through sound check, so probably 7am-4pm or so.

@@johnl2124 it eventually came to the Lyric, in Sydney. Compared to the Broadway run, I spotted only one major set difference; the curtain for Spooky Mormon Hell Dream gets pulled offstage left, rather than through a trap door/hole beneath the stage.
