In fairness you say Sunderland were handed a huge amount of fortune; had the officials picked up on the offside goal Leeds scored and the handball and free kick that wasn’t even a foul that led to their second I think it’s Leeds that were handed the fortune in that game

But the Meslier howler wasn't fortunate? That literally happens once in a thousand so Sunderland got extremely lucky. Leeds' first goal was maybe slightly offside but it was still a beautiful move that carved Sunderland open, and Leeds' second goal - ok maybe it wasn't an initial foul but what resulted from that was abysmal defending from Sunderland who should've dealt with the danger far better, and Leeds danced rings around them in that moment...but ok sure both goals there was a slice of luck involved but Meslier's howler was insane luck, so given there was luck on both sides Leeds were by some distance the better side, even without their two key CM's they controlled large parts of the game with Sunderland playing well for the first 10 mins and then having a couple spells but thats it

Well, we were definitely a good team, a bit inconsistent atm, but our squad has some very high potential bar the Sunderland game. We have not played a team that I think looks better than us; we have just failed to take our chances. I still have no idea how we lost that Watford game because we battered them for 75 minutes, and even in the Sunderland game, I never thought we were out of it, and I know Steve Gibson will definitely be looking to strengthen an already capable team again in January. All I'm saying is if you're taking us too lightly, you have to be stupid because when we start taking these chances, you'll soon see we mean business this season

Derby has played 4 of the top 8 away. Including the top 2. They were generally competitive in all of those games. I suspect we’ll start to pick up away points when we play those lower in the table. We’ve had a tough run to start the year. I think we’ll be ok.

From a Boro side of the bookies table so far I'm surprised we given 2nd in their table. Two hard away games recently. Won at WBA but lost at Watford. That may change after int. break with Norwich 2nd game after this week off and Sheff U away 3rd game. Top six is big reality with the squad we have Ben. Think Preston will pick up points too mate

As a Boro fan, I agree we are definitely a good team. Our issue is taking our chances. We are simply not clinical enough. Defensively, we can be a little bit shakey conceding some quite disappointing goals (The goals at Watford and Sunderland come to mind). I think we are very near to becoming a top promotion contender but we aren't quite there just yet. Hopefully with a good consistent run of form and a few reinforcements in January, we will be up there. If I had to make a prediction at this point of the season, I would say we will finish between 5th and 7th

Leeds away next will be huge. Dont see how Leeds can play without a dcm and Ao Tanaka will play for Japan, travelling 18,000 miles during the international window. It's gonna be hard to get him on the pitch already on a Friday game. Might even be prudent to rest him as they really dont have anyone to play that position anymore. If Tanaka gets injured now, they're in serious trouble. Heard Leeds tried appealing his national team cap but were unsuccessful.
