@@FeelinMe11by Jada Pinkett Smith? I just finished, took me two months…It was a hard read for me..she’s such a narcissist and not sure how truthful she is, she did a lot of name dropping and clout chasing on dead people. I wanted to like it.

Ooo that last part about actually doing the work is so real. I know I constantly need that reminder. I’m re-reading the 12 week year currently and they mention in the first few minutes that Knowledge isn’t power, knowledge is only power when you put it into actual practice. Things can be thought provoking but it’s only worth something if you do something with the thought to change. Thank you for this great list of books!!

A great list! Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself was life-changing for me! The Alchemist is an annual read for me - always discovering something new to apply to my life (same with 4 Agreements) Good list - will check out some of the ones I have yet to read

What you said about the four agreements is true, you always gonna remember at least one. I’ll always remember the one that says don’t take anything personal

The four agreements is a gem 😍 I try to read it every year.

I’m reading The Four Agreements now and what you said about being impeccable with your word reasonnated with me. I’ve always been the people pleaser too & how you just explained that like YESSS I’ll say yes to things like to going to somewhere for instance and not really want to go, but then back out resulting in me feeling bad. Currently learning to use those agreements in my life or “doing my best”. I always say to strive to be at least 1% better than the day before. This book really helps put that into perspective.

Wonderful, wonderful video yet again, thank you so much for these amazing recommendations, I've actually been trying to update my readings list, but most of the book recs I see arw more about finances and self development, and though its essential, I was kind of hoping for more spiritual books. Couldn't agree more with you about applying what we read into our daily life, I've always used to just read books, (one for the sake of reading and 2 for the beautiful sentence structures that writers manage to come up with, I love literature what can I say) but I guess I started really valuing what I read and trying to apply it after I started reading my cultures holy book(I hope that's what they call it). Because I found myself reading and then one day I just applied the teachings because I had been going to back on that passage everyday prior and that really changed my perspective on things. Reading is truly powerful and when we start asking ourselves on why reading it and how can I apply them, we then start seeing the world in a whole new lens. I swear I told myself I was going to make this short, but I just love writing essay worth comments 😣 , but still thank you once more for this amazing video and waiting for more to come, stay happy, healthy and in love always ✨✨

i actually just finished reading “the voice of knowledge“ by don miguel ruiz and plan to continue with the rest of his books. my 8th advanced english grade teacher put us on to him and “the four agreements” but as teens, of course we didn’t fully take in the reading assignments. revisiting that book as an adult, i wish i still had her assignment questions to see how i would answer then now. added the other books i’m unfamiliar with to my constantly growing tbr list. thank you so much for the recommendations! editing to add that Hoopla is just like Libby and is what a primarily use with Libby as my “backup” for when/if i run out of borrows for that month over on Hoopla
