Absolutely brilliant song from the 20th century (1080's) from the master lyrical writer about the future. We knew in the early 1980's that in the future there would be lots of people looking at us all but it doesn't matter because they need that information. It's called compassion for the people trying to protect us. Haha. Loved the 1980's music.

Absolute classic! Just like everything the Boomtown Rats did. If you were young when they did all this and Blondie were strutting their stuff, you'll know exactly where I'm coming from.It wasn't really fashionable amongst us Deep Purple fans to like this kinda stuff then, but NOW, well it's different now - I can like who I like. Bob Geldof for PM.
@biggusdickus59862 жыл бұрын
Strange, l never thought about being allowed to like a type of music, a song or tune, if l liked it l bloody well listened to it, from Charlie Drakes Puckwudgie, to Handles water music, Adam Faith, The Monkees, Slade, The Sweet, There's always Someone Looking At You, to I'm Horny Horny Horny, Elvis's l cant help Falling in Love With You, The Tranglers Golden Brown, A windmill in Amsterdam. Olivers Army, Andy Williams, l pick and choose a song that makes me happy, thoughtful, expresses some of what l feel, sheer silliness, l even like some of Deep Purple, it's all great if you like it. l have eclectic taste, or sh"*' as some people have called it, l just smile and turn up the volume,though l did start tuning out in the mid to late 80s as boy bands and rap took over, I've looked and listened but l can't find anything in rap other than relief when it stops, l know it ages me but l swear everytime l hear it as someone goes past in a car with it on full blast or l walk past a house with a window open and the rap coming out that it's the same tune just boom boom boom boom boom and someone shouting in the background, l have this theory that it reminds the fans of it of when they were in the womb and could hear their mother's heart banging away and the muffled voices of the people outside the womb talking to her.. But still if that's what the young uns like its what they like, my dad couldn't stand my Glam rock taste in music and thought my friends and l looked like clowns in our clothes, but l also liked the late fifties and 60s music, as well as Classical tho mostly Baroque. Everybody likes a good tune from our grandparents digging Bing Crosby to those who inexplicably like Jazz,.. Shudder.

On a night like this I deserve to get kissed at least once or twice You come over to my place screaming blue murder, needing someplace to hide. Well, I wish you'd keep quiet, Imaginations run riot, In these paper-thin walls. And when the place comes ablaze with a thousand dropped names I don't know who to call. But I got a friend over there in the government block And he knows the situation and he's taking stock, I think I'll call him up now Put him on the spot, tonight. They saw me there in the square when I was shooting my mouth off About saving some fish. Now could that be construed as some radical's views or some liberals' wish. And it's so hot outside, And the air is so sweet, And when the pressure drop is heavy I don't wanna hear you speak. You know most killing is committed at 90 degrees. When it's too hot to breathe And it's too hot to think. There's always someone looking at you. S-s-s-s-someone. They're looking at you. And I wish you'd stop whispering. Don't flatter yourself, nobody's listening. Still it makes me nervous, those things you say. You may as well Shout it from the roof Scream it from your lungs Spit it from you mouth There's a spy in the sky There's a noise on the wire There's a tap on the line And for every paranoid's desire... There's always Somone looking at you. S-s-s-s-someone looking at you... They're always looking at you.
