I’d like to add that whole scene and the (episode in general) in the drug store is supposed to be a commentary on American foreign policy. Ed and Rummy(America) basically accuse the clerk (Afghanistan, Iraq, etc..) of having a weapon(WMDs) that he doesn’t have to rob their store, he even says you have the wrong store the Korean Store north of here (N.Korea who are actually trying to develop nuclear weapons). The firefight ensues and Huey makes a point in that of course they are shooting back at you your trying to rob their store(country). After the firefight Ed and Rummy are celebrated for defeating “terrorists” despite the fact that they perpetuated that incident. This was done while they were trying to clear Tom’s name of a murder he didn’t commit. The real killer was caught because he killed again which to me can be interpreted as a commentary on how America ignores problems at home to make problems for other people.
