Also, i actually didn’t change the water in koopa cape haha But it’s interesting because it really goes to show how hard it is to appreciate the good stuff from the bcp if the surroundings look bad as it draws a lot of attention imo

Yeah, and the background in the reforged version of SNES MC3 looks a lot similar to the background in the recent version of Rimea's SNES Mario Circuit 2 custom track

Jesus man, that Shroom Ridge is legitimately beautiful. Also, the base Koopa Cape would've looked infinitely better if they just swapped the ground and the rock colors. Koopa Cape is supposed to have a sandy color of dirt and dark rocks. It and Wii Rainbow Road are legitimately my least favorite tracks in the game solely because they look so bad. Sidenote: The hot air balloons on this DK Summit are too distracting for their position in view during the Double Cut.
