Great videos. Ro, you are inspiring mate. Ive never laid 1 brick in my life before watching. I took on a home project to build a 6ftx45ft garden wall (over 2000 bricks) with 5 arches, hard wired for lights...the total works. Very happy w how it turned out. Holly, get well soon!

Rodian, enjoying the vids mate, learning a few things as well. Not sure if Holly is suffering from sciatica, but try an inversion table. My wife starting suffering on a trip to the US and a great chiropractor we found out there told us to get one and my wife hasn’t been to a chiropractor since. Also you don’t need to completely invert, just 30-40 degrees for a few minutes a day. Nothing like it after a hard day on site!

@@holliemontague8257 check out the videos by a guy called Roger Teeter. We have one of his inversion tables, which are a little bit more expensive than others, but the quality and ease of use is so much better, my wife swears by hers. It’s not something that chiropractors in the UK talk about, but in the US they see it as a complimentary treatment alongside their chiropractic treatment. I hope you find some help with your back Hollie?

Rodian and Holly, providing that your back pain isn’t due to a severe injury. Drinking plenty of water can really help with back pain and sciatica. I speak from experience. Also, for a non invasive therapy you should try and see a Bowen specialist. It’s very very good. Good luck, keep the videos coming. 👍🏻

There was some hardcore in the sand from way back before even the footings went in. I think it was part of the old garage that used to be there. Only a couple of dents 🤣

i left a comment the other day but you dint answer,the question was when you put your drain elbow in the soakaway facing down it will end up backing up with mud and crap wont it thus blocking up over time

I think its more likely to get clogged without the 90 on the end. My thinking behind it is as its facing down any crap would drop down and no chance of it getting stuck at the end of the drain run. Saying that though, as I have traps under all the downpipes, these will catch and silt etc so only water will be going down the run. Those are my thoughts anyway 😁👍

Its all sand bud. There was a massive mound there before the house and that only had 12 inches or so of soil on top.
