I remember watching the movie and thinking, this seems so familiar. It took me a bit to remember it from the TZ, because of the name change, but when I did remember it, I was so relieved. The funny thing is now, that's all I remember about watching the movie. I just remember it being familiar to the TZ and I can't remember anything else about the film, while I have gone back and watched the 80s TZ's several times in the past few years. (So many Star Trek Next Generation actors in that series.) There is an Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1980s version) with a very similar story line called When This Man Dies. This time I remembered Button Button instantly.

Cool, I'd never heard of the short story or either of these adaptations before :)

Twilight Zone version is superior in every way. Even to the short story.

I'd love to see a comparison between the OG series (1984) and its CG movie counterpart: *"The Adventure Begins"* (2015).
