I clicked on this expecting a run-of-the-mill supernatural thriller, and was amazed to find it's really about drug addiction (which is a lot scarier, because it's real) and really quite well acted and filmed. Bravo!

I don't know addiction as a personal struggle, but I have family that does. This was a glimpse into a world I can never truly understand but I'm grateful for the depiction of struggle, fear, strength, and weakness that this showed all addicts encounter. Eye opening for sure and a true testament of the will and determination of those who are living day to day in their sobriety. Great job! The box melodically calling to him gave me chills.

Pretty creepy and interesting short horror film, with excellent acting and great camera work. The ending was chilling. I assume that the whole plot and imagery is supposed to represent the character's struggle with guilt and drug addiction; really well done. Keep up the great work.

I get it that box hold's all their drugs and drug's instruments they used when they got high. The addiction was calling him and he tried to fight it, but instead it kept chasing him. So he was about to break down and her spirit stop him. Well tried to stop him but the addiction was too strong and at the end he overdose also!!! Nice film!!!

Hard for people who weren't in 'that dark waters' to understand and to talk about addiction with them,when the strongest thing they ever took is Vodka. I sure don't recommend it to anyone,it's living hell,at least,they should have respect. I can bet that everyone here knew someone who is dead now because of fkn drugs. Respect them,not us,who you don't even know. Thank you. 🖤 for my big love,years ago. Will meet again,only this time I will take care of you like I should then. Hope you forgave me,my love.

Skylight Studios Hey, no problem pal. Looks like you put a lot of hard work into this project. Its not easy to make a short film in eight minutes. having a beginning, middle, climax, and end in a short time and to pull it off so well. You even have great light Filtering, a nice tent of negative saturation that gives the film that good gritty horror feel to it. And wonderful choice of music when the climax was all coming together. It added so much to the atmosphere. I can say you're going in the right path, keep up the great work. I will be looking forward to seeing more work from you in the future. Just absolutely splendid.

Just started getting into shorts few months now, since full length movies just don't "do it" for me anymore. I wouldn't know if I'm picky or not. I like different ones for different reasons. There's scary, suspenseful, creepy, or just an original premise. Which impresses me the most, since it's so lacking these days. Bravo on The Box. Though it won't be keeping me up at night. Very original, suspenseful and we'll thought out and executed. You have a new subscriber. Anyway. Who wants to be kept up all night. I like my beauty rest 😚

@kumarsanu75238 жыл бұрын
right now, your english is killing it. Stop blaming drugs for everything. I use it and I am fine. People need to understand that these are for recreational purpose only. IF you do not have will, then nothing can save you. Alcohol kills more families than drugs have ever, yet no one addresses that. Why? because it is not frowned upon by the so called society. But things like marijuana, that grows naturally are frowned upon. Stupid bastards. You know why weed is made illegal? Because, weed is easier to grow than tobacco is and weed has MANY medicinal benefits, which if made legal will kill the pharmaceutical industry. They have vested interest to ban these natural herbs. Don't be a cow and follow the herd. Ask questions, research and be sure before you say anything. I am Kumar Sanu, signing off! Peace

Good direction and other jobs by Jorge Carvajal. I think he would have done a better job of directing a certain highly publicized horror film that's -- oh, never mind. Anyway, great acting by Marco A. Salazar. From the way he handled the gun I'm guessing that he's military or police trained. Professionally done and S*C*A*R*Y; very intense.

How terribly sad... I would not call this horror. Haunting perhaps. Maybe even psychological thriller? But I am seeing it as his drugs are in that box, and after losing the love of his life to overdose, he is fighting with his giving into his addiction (the "other" him you see in the mirror) and wanting to die and be with her; and his desire to live!
