Thanks for the video, when you touched the drivers were they warm? I'm wanting to buy the passive version. I know you said the 'A' version is underpowered, would you recommend the passive version? Thanks again

Hi, I can't remember if they were warm. Passive would be a bit better but nowhere near 130db.

Looks awesome, but SPL wise, it didn't preformed as i wanted haha. It was recorded with my smartphone and a china fake Gopro, hahaha

@Terry Jackson The limiter is too thight , or/and the power amp has not many power. When i hooked it up to another amp, it preforms better.

@Terry Jackson it's the 212A, which is the active one, you can also buy the Pyrit Sub 212 instead of the Pyrit Sub 212A, the one without the A does not have an amplifier inbuilt

Joo Tim, mooie video. Ik heb een passieve 212 gevonden voor 220 euro. Voor de specs een goede deal zou je zeggen. Zeg je doen of is ook de passieve versie niet aan te raden?

why don't you like this subwoofer? too much deep bass and not punchy enough ? or SPL not high enough ? do you think the box achat 115 is better ?

Achat115 is better in almost every way. That pyrit is indeed too low and now kick. And its not loud at all...

I was almost ready to buy this, but now not sure. What would be a better alternative that doesn't costs 2-3 times more? I have DXR12 tops and have events of ~200 people indoors and sometimes random outdoor stuff.

if i can speak in english, i work with 18 inch usually 700 watt rms in frequent bass of 35 hz minimum but I want to try this model, because it seems to be powerful and your feelings and how to indoor use for 150,200 people?

I have the passive version,They sound good however im looking to change mine i have had a lot of subs different brands,Now i think im just going to get x2 1500 rms 18" boxes i just wont a little more power to play the music an not push it.

The "A" in 212A stands for "Active".

@@timmetjuh070 zouden de passieve versies niet goed zijn als je een krachtige versterker hebt en iets compact wilt dat toch tot 30Hz gaat? ik heb namelijk niet bepaald de plaats om ergens een 15 of 18" sub neer te zetten, zijn deze dan niet goed als je luid wilt gaan met compacte subs?

Bonjour, je suis hollandais. Ce subwoofer est recommandé passivement. Actif, il est pauvre, pas assez de puissance. Pas non plus super passif. Vous avez besoin d'un minimum de 1000 watts. Vous ne pouvez pas apprendre l'anglais?

Het materiaal(The Box en The Box Pro,tevens afwerking van vervangings drivers van The box) is vele male beter dan het schreeuwerige prul(Devine) van Bax Shop. Voor mij is geluid ook maar gewoon een hobby,heb zelf op de zolder/slaapkamer een Dynacord set staan. Bestaande uit 2 15" subs(rated;200 Watt cont.prog. 400 Watt) 2 12" tops(met geupgrade 18 Sound mid/bas a 350 watt AES ,zijn origineel 100 watt rated en cont.prog 200 watt). Dit setje is overigens maar 20 jaar jong ;), en word gevoed door een ongeveer 25 jaar jonge Roland SRA-800(grootendeels gelijk aan Phonic MAR-6,alleen heeft de Roland iets betere componenten(geen groot verschil). Wel leuk om te weten is dat de Phonic 600 watt @ 4 ohm zou moeten geven,maar doet ffies 700 watt zonder blikken of blozen(tevens levert de Phonic 2 Kw @ 2 ohm,de Roland zit tussen de 100 a 150watt per kanaal hoger . Tevens heb ik er nog een 12"autosub bij staan in een 70 ltr. bruto gepoorte kist a 30Hz. en word gevoed door een Phonic MAR-2 @ 4 ohm per kanaal a 350 watt.

@@chaeyoungshi Daar ben ik het totaal niet mee eens,verschillende vrienden hebben van Da(a)P(s) audio toch aardig wat drivers om zeep geholpen alle in de range van 300 watt en aes +/- 500 watt. Nu zitten er in de SA W-bins de 15" van Thomann the box 15-300/8-a in totaal 8 kisten,en bij een andere maat in een stel vintage Peavey's de drivers voor die zelfde vervangen(origineel waren Black widows,komen or ook wel weer terug in maar niet voor de illegale buiten(tekno)feesten). En bij beide gaan ze nu al langer mee dan drivers van Dap,Celestion,Samson overigens alle drivers van rond de 100,-

Bitte noch mal machen aber ohne das Mikrofon in den Sub zu stecken (bitte mal Kopfhörer aufsetzen Katastrophe) das machen sie mit ihren Kunden hoffentlich auch nicht ansonsten ganz brauchbar die Anlage denke ich
