I highly doubt her powers are limited, reason being she's not taking her meds anymore and we still how she controlled Shetty and Maurie expeditiously for a long period of time after just touching them once. Who knows what more she can do with her mind reading power, maybe she can infiltrate the mind or make people braindead without even having to touch them

Limited while Marie is under developed power wise, with fully controlled Marie by her side if she’s able to do what she did to Kate before she goes down seizing, I think she could override that limit 🏃🏽💨

That virus is definitely gonna be the sole weapon to take out Homelander. Season 4 of The Boys will be an all out war between supes and humans and I'm ready for it. Cate and Sam are definitely the most powerful supes other than Soldier Boy and Homelander and it's terrifying that they're getting pulled into the dark side.

I think Andre was kept away as he probably would have stopped Cate from killing Shetty or even just used his power to pull the knife from her hand. Or they would have had to make Andre join the "villainous" side along with Sam and Cate which I don't think the writers wanted him to go that direction

Its definitely leading up to a war. It is unfortunate that the two most powerful supes Sam and Cate defected. Im interested to see how the finale is. I predict Marie will pop a head for the first time in the finale. Also I definitely think Newman is sort of a protagonist here. Like she is playing dirty, but lets not forget she's working with Hughie. Her ultimate goal is to kill Homelander

Then the conversation with starlight and then the finale with butcher and the boys saying they need to take her down? She has her own goal aside from homelander tho

Yo Cate and Shetty had us in the first half ngl, i was waiting for Cate to betray the team but nope! Cate is fucking scary at full power. Im kinda of upset that Shetty didnt get to meet Butcher, still awesome Mallory mentioned him though. If the finale continues the streak, this season will stand right beside the best of the Boys. Amazing episode.

I like how they try to divide the group already. Sam and Cate being Pro-SLM. While the others trying to take the high road. I also still on edge about Neuman, i don't think she's inherently bad, but her agenda is still unknown, so.. And she's not under the control of edgar/vought anymore and i think she's also understand that homelander is dangerous (that's why she gave her daughter v-shot). I know she want political power but what's her actual end goal after she got it?

I think it was real. Cate seemed torn about what to do when Shetty was consoling her in the previous scene. She had her gloves off when they were holding hands and when Marie and the gang showed up her eyes were bloody. So it seems she chose to take control of Shetty and force her to tell the truth and slice herself. Being off the medication was probably a huge factor in that decision. -Corey

Neumann's definitely killing a supe with the virus. Pretty sure Neumann can't blow up Homelander's head. She's probably gonna teach Marie how to pop heads too. (Marie's probably invulnerable to Neumann's power, so good ally for her to have).

What happen in Gen V will bleed into The Boys season 4 and in turn bleed to Gen V season 2. Though I do not know how much or how significant the cross over between the two series is.

I LOVE how Cait's tell is HER BLEEDING ASS EYES!!! The more she uses the power the more her eyes fucking bleed... By the end of the episode she's been pushing SO HARD... THAT HER EYES WERE LIKE MADE OF BLOOD!!!

I personally feel like Gen V is trying to serve The Boys rather than trying to serve itself. The closest example I can think of is Agents of Shield. They would always look up to and make references to the greater mcu, but I never felt like it was at a disservice to the show. For the most part, they told their own stories and developed their own characters. We started off with some great character stuff in the first three episodes of Gen V, but it just all goes away after that
