The ‘Tek’ could be a play on ‘de-tec(k)-tive’, since he seems to be known for solving crimes and mysteries and his powers help him with that. Knight could possibly be his actual surname maybe? He might not have the same name as his comic counterpart

I think he definitely had a suit or Tech at some point, he seems to have some kind of power that involves strength, but mostly his power is to cipher the truth and read people like an open book, as well as his tumor that makes him wants to fk every hole possible. Its gonna be hilarious to see how he dies probably by the end of this series

I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING. The scene where the guy is naked before the explosion he said “wait it’s not what you think” And the fact they made a situation like that not mean something like Starlight did, seems like something they would address. What if he wasn’t doing what we thought….. and she just snapped before he could explain. Maybe it has something to do with the time skips and him not finishing what he was doing. Idk I just feel that the character might be a little bit more then we thought. Especially because the actor has been on A-LOT of marketing material. Might be a long shot but when watching it back I did notice him saying “wait wait it’s not what you think” and then he couldn’t say anything else obviously because what was happening.

I think you’re onto something! So much of that sequence, and after, lacks a certain tone you’d expect if the text and subtext were nothing more than one-off scene representing sexual assault. Like they made tone and subtext empty or kinda blank, intentionally, because of another narrative at play, waiting to be revealed. (I didn’t reallly consider it till reading your comment though, now I gotta go rewatch that part for clues!)
