It is seen that this film is very beautiful. What a great cast and how handsome Matt Bomer.

Mart God Bless You & Your Soul. You have no idea how many folks you helped to make feel less guilty about themselves during a time where being Gay wasn't "Okay" in the eyes of many people. 1968 was such a "Heavy" Year. Dr. King was assassinated and then Bobby Kennedy, and more Young Men were sent to Vietnam. In The UK they did a Tribute Issue in Attitude a Gay Magazine. It's even a Hit across the ocean.

"Cowboy" would be perfect if they did another Tom Ripley Movie. He could be The Young Man in The Boy Who Followed Ripley.

I love Matt Bomer, but I thought he was a bit stiff and unnatural in the movie. Frederick Combs brought more depth to Donald's character. Jim Parsons, Zac Quinto and Robin de Jesus were commendable but its hard to beat the original cast. Andrew Rannells was brilliant, I prefer his portrayal of Larry to the original

I remember watching a Clip from Ratched where Mildred and Gwen (her Girlfriend) went to a Party and they couldn't even Dance with one another. I thought "How Sad". The "Colored" Couple were able to go and were tolerated if not accepted but not "them".

All great actors & storylines but the original is SOOO MUCH BETTER! The production is so much better. The newer version on Netflix is just all over the place & not much movement & context to the characters.

He sold Boys in the Band as comedy drama? Seriously and people bought that? What were they smoking?

I don't understand how Crowley could allow Jim Parsons playing such a pivotal character. I found his performace disastrous. No punch, No nervousness. So dry and lame. Am I the only one who felt that way? I was very disappointed also with the choice of the actors for Barnard and Larry. The original ones were so glamorous and chic. But the "new" ones are rather "cheap" in my view. In a whole the biggest win of the new version is Matt Bomer. He's got star quality. Fabulous.

Jim Parsons is an Emmy-winning actor. Why wouldn't Mart want that kind of validated talent in this production?
