I noticed the same thing, across several channels. But I had, just earlier tonight, my good buddy who LOVES this show, I guess he just thought he misremembered Noirs death, and assumed nothing happened and then was just like "first time he's talked!" I think it is just a product of how much time there is between seasons, and all the other stuff you might watch in between

dude some guy lost his mind on me the other day becuase i told him this after he commented "i dont know why frenchie and kimiko cant be together" lol like he spent a whole morning having a temper tantrum made like 20 essay comments making shit up saying im attacking him for not liking something i like and then accusing me of playing victim lol it was crazy if you watch spartan and pudgy it was on their season 4 episode 1 reaction you can probably find it pretty easily

Because Erin was 23 when they started filming for the first season, and she’s about to be 30 so obvs will be some changes - Kimiko and Frenchie established last season they weren’t romantic but had a family-esque relationship so it’d be confusing to still go ahead with their relationship that way

Sage is clearly intelligent with regard to problem-solving and strategizing, but she has no emotional intelligence. She sees the social and individual psychology of humans as intellectual challenges. She's probably a master at chess and logistics, but she doesn't *care* about anyone. She has no interest in understanding or helping *humanity* as a whole, which is why she has no qualms about helping Homelander, even though she knows he's a very very bad person. She'll be a willing participant and aid in his agenda, but will always make sure to stay one step ahead of him, because she knows he will terminate her the moment he thinks she's no longer of any use to him.

I guess it's hard to know who has or hasn't watched the series yet, but there are a couple of comments I'd like to make about what you said. She understands humanity about as much as a normal person does, but she hates them. Not just because she finds people irritatingly idiotic, but also because they laugh in the face of people who are smarter than them, and it cost her her grandmother's life when she could've saved her. She is helping Homelander because what he said was true: It gives her a chance to remake the world she thinks it should be - With her (or supes in general) at the top of everything - and she can't say no to that. "She'll be a willing participant and aid in his agenda, but will always make sure to stay one step ahead of him, because she knows he will terminate her the moment he thinks she's no longer of any use to him." I'm not going to go with the obvious criticism of "but he DIDN'T terminate her", and you're right that she probably thought he would. However, Homelander wasn't showing any signs in this episode of being panicked about Vought's reputation, so it's supposed to be clear that the only reason he hired Sage is because he needed someone willing to tell him when he is wrong. That's not the kind of person you ever "don't have a use for".
