There has been a ton of criticism about the writers being politically biased this season, but I disagree. Sure, there is a clear real world influence, but there always has been. This season isn't worse than any of the previous seasons as far as the political leanings in my opinion. Interested in what MrLBoyd thinks...

Seeing things melting, breathing, growing, shrinking, color-shifting, etc is super common on hallucinogens. (I'm also on team tism... it's fine... there's no inherent incompatibility as far as I can tell. Definitely worth the experience in a controlled setting. The attention to detail is like a superpower if you can stay focused.)

as an experienced user of many different psychedelics, yes, depending on what substance, or the quantity, hallucinations can occur, sometimes just as vivid as shown here with the melting, the other stuff, bubbles/ducks is far fetched. BUT on DMT things can get quite different. i once interacted with a being made of galaxies inside a wood panel wall. so maybe the bubbles isnt too crazy :)
