When you mentioned that The Seven as "an evil Justice League", I immediately started thinking of the Crime Syndicate of America,which is the Earth 2 version of the JLA..They run the entire infrastructure of the country like the mob,with each member being a crime boss,and having their own houses,made up of a pyramid of criminal supers under them,called "made men"..I could see Homelander in Ultraman's (evil Superman) role as the Boss of All Bosses.

Call me paranoid, but that V brought back his brain dead dad once, im not convinced he is dead. I sincerely doubt injecting him with somthing lethal would do the trick, i mean he is a supe now, and the whole episode was about the only thing that can kill supes, the virus. If whatever Hughie gave his dad really worked, why not give it to J̶o̶h̶n̶ (sorry) Homelander? Nah man, something's cooking here i can smell it :D

As much as I love the show - and I really (really!) love the show - this season feels.. off, to some extent. It's not the political aspects, I'm absolutely fine with them leaning into it - and I'm not wholly sure it's the writing either.. at least not entirely - I think it's the pacing. Theres been a lot of those weird things happening like the JDM, Urban, Sameer scene at the end there - snatch-and-grab and sawed his leg off... when, how, and where did it go down? It's just presented as having happened and that's all she wrote. Unfortunately those weird pacing issues starts rubbing off on the characters as well after a while. It's just weird to me. S4 takes place like 5-6 months after the finale of S3.. but if you had told me that it's been 2-3 years, I wouldnt have had an argument to really refute that.
@OfficialMediaKnights3 ай бұрын
We noticed a bit of that too. I think the most likely reason is time restrictions when it comes to the episode itself. I can guarantee they probably shot all of that but in order to keep it as close to an hour as possible it had to be left in the cutting room.

In regards to Starlight's fall from grace, I found it troublesome not that she was a mean girl who wanted to get better, but that story of the mother that she blinded. And it was like Starlight had no accountability for that. Like if that happened, I'd want to make sure that woman had money to cover her medical bills. Or if you want to make the argument that Starlight was 13 and wouldn't think like that, I would still want to visit and apologize and keep track of her because it was my fault (and then as I got older bill paying would occur to me). But not only does Starlight NOT do something like that, now that she's confronted with this issue, it seems like she hasn't thought about it a day in her life since. And instead of saying "oh, my God, she's right. I should do something about that" She starts making excuses to the other people at the table "I was only 13 and couldn't control my powers." And she doesn't even talk about doing anything NOW to make it right either. It's not her problem. Her only problem is everyone knows about it. Then we have her losing her mind over Firecracker. Because fighting Firecracker in a dark alley? Sure. Fighting her on stage during taping? No, no, no. It's as if everything else doesn't matter. Maybe Starlight and A Train need to have a talk, since he's on an upwards swing.
