When possible, get to Memphis TN and Sun if you've never been. Made the pilgrimage in Summer of 2017. Great tour; nothing like standing in that space and feeling that vibe.

Great! The guy with cowboy hat and hippy clothes is Jerry Phillips , Sam`s son who was in band called the Jesters in the 1960s . They had a couple a good singles on Sun like Cadillac Man. He even looks a little bit like Sam. God bless them all!

sun messed up the studio by moveing a wall and when they realized they put it back but the way the wall was built was not the same !!

The Sun Slapback sound was achieved by running two tape machines very slightly off sync with each other. They invented “delay” that way. At least that’s what I’ve read!
