Another melon that disappeared was the Calhoun Sweet. Produced by the Louisiana experimental farm in Calhoun, LA . And it was sweet. Don't know what happened but it disappeared one day and no seeds can be found. Perhaps it was like the Bradford melon, thin skinned and shipping was difficult. But it was the best watermelon that I personally have ever tasted.
