Well, it takes around half an hour to walk a mile. So it would take Mike and Peter roughly 10 hours to maybe half a day to walk 20 miles... IF they were to go nonstop. Basically, Mike and Peter may be gone for a day.

However, he was very close to the rest of the cast and stay as long as he did just for them. The girls actually became close friends with his real life daughter.

Mike and Peter. The guy was coming back which Mike confirmed. Mike said that while he and Peter were hiking back to the highway, they saw him coming back. He used the car to drive into town to file the claim.

At 1:11, when they pull the peg with the belt and the belts separate, I would've said to Mike, "You didn't actually think that was gonna work, did you?"

I think at that point the peg was too far out for the rope to have any slack, so it wouldn't have been able to get unstuck from the peg no matter what, so their best hope was to pull on the peg and hope it breaks.

This was how the Manson gang started. Later those kids ran away and ran back to that place which was spahn ranch. The character played by Jim Bachuss was actually Charles Manson. So when the Brady kids ran away and ran back to that place he gave them LSD and put knives in their hands and the rest is history. They were actually supposed to go back to their mommy and daddy's house and neighbors so high and drunk they ended up at the Tate house in history's made.
