Now in the year 2019 HGTV did a whole renovation of the Brady house, With the surviving cast members. And every one of them is still talking about the Brady Bunch Show show and cashing in on it in 2019 +.

There was a very short lived series called Day By Day. In one episode the main character, a teenaged boy named Ross is upset at his parents and dreams of being a Brady. He imagines Mike and Carol Brady would be more sympathetic to him. He falls asleep during a Brady Bunch marathon only to "awaken" in a dreamland/nightmare where the Brady's forever repeat the same saccharin sweet one liners add nauseam. For this one episode of an unknown sitcom, at least half of the original cast appeared in their old roles. It was very funny but most funny of all, this same actor was hired later on to play Greg in the really groovy Brady Bunch spoof movies. I was glad to see he did eventually really get his wish!

It wasn't until I watched an episode of Day By Day on KZbin that Greg Brady in The Brady Bunch Movie was the kid who played Ross Harper.
@Nash1a
@Nash1a 5 жыл бұрын
If you haven't seen it, you should try to find the episode of Day By Day where Ross dreams of joining the Brady Bunch. They got about half the original Brady Bunch cast to reprise their roles for this funny dream sequence. I had seen that years before the Brady Bunch movie so when I realized that was Ross playing Greg, I was like ok... well I guess dreams really do come true.

Cheat, stealing, backbiter & robber Barron; All those Actors were rooked for a fortune, a lifetime of royalties'. I really shouldn't be surprised at his Avarice given his position. I just wonder if they ever saw a fraction of the residuals though any successful legal action or if those contracts stood the test of time. (ironclad). Insufferable dinkweed, there was enough money to spread around.

It was wrong for the Swartzes to cash in on the Brady Bunch and Brady spin-offs w/o paying them residuals. The Brady actors and their characters gave millions of people happiness and hope. They deserved so much better.

My question IS, how much are these former Brady kids getting in royalties for all of the reruns shown since 1974? They said their deals with Paramount sucked? If that IS true, just think about the billions they are missing from 1974 to present. Even with a small allowance from Paramount, they should sue like the Happy Days cast did! But in true Brady fashion, they remain humble and miss billions!!!!!

Robert Reed hated the character of Mike Brady, but millions of people loved the Mike character and would've love having him for a father themselves. That is what he will be remembered for. Yes, he was a respected shakespearean actor. The Swartzes should've shown him more respect.

I heard Eve Plum (Jan) tell a story about dating in her 20s. Aledgely she dated a young man near her age and after dating for awhile they ended up in bed together. After making love the guy said something like, I just made love to Jan Brady! If the story is true it shows how much the show had on people.

My daughter's friend auditioned for the part of Cindy Brady in the new Brady Bunch Movie in the 90s. Those doing the auditions told her that she looked perfect for the part..but that her voice was too deep, too raspy and too annoying for the part of Cindy Brady. Lol. You should see her now!! She goes by the name Katrina Chiovon..and you can find her on KZbin. Her hair is naturally blond..but she dyes it black. And..she still has that deep, raspy voice..that men today seem to find sexy. Check her out!! She's a far cry from Cindy Brady now!! Lol.

They over analyze why people still like this show. As someone who is about Bobby's age, I like to watch it because of Jan and Marcia and that it reminds me of being a teenager. On the Brady spoof version, I was wondering when Mike Brady was going to ask his kids for their TPA reports.

It seems to me the children of the Brady Bunch want to put their characters in their past except when they need the money their recognition brings them. I know a factory who is hiring for $10.00 an hour if they are interested but it is back breaking work and they will have to cut coupons and go to dollar movies

"I think this show represents something that everyone longs for in life....whether you're straight or gay." Why the HELL did she feel she needed to say that? Why didn't she just come out and say that she supports people like Robert Reed? The Brady Bunch did NOTHING to represent gay, or any other segmented population. Weird. I'm not gay, but her statement, at least to me, seemed really weird.

Were they shown over seas the same season they were broadcast here? S.S. and his son are pure parasites. Not sharing in the residuals with all the actors that made them known. Not giving a second thought to the camera operators, set crew, everyone that put up with his BS, etc etc.

Christoper Knight may not have made a lot of money from The Brady Bunch but he's worth $15 million from all his business ventures. Didn't Susan have some business with tennis shoes? I remember reading about her in US magazine, but I don't remember the whole article. It was in the 80"s. Robert Reed kept complaining about the show and the stupid scripts but hey it's a paying job for 5 years. I mean he didn't know it would on 5 years but it's a paying acting job which are hard to get. And couldn't he read the script before hand and know it was going to be a bit corny if not a lot. I mean come on it's not Shakespear.I mean you're on the show and you know for some reason it's not perfect as no job is but just do the job and don't complain. You already singed up for the roll.
