Jan’s looks always got overshadowed by Marsha’s because of the weird front curls and bows they made her wear. But Jan rocked the straight blond hair in the last season just as well as Marsha did. She looked great in final season.

I always thought that Jan was the prettiest of the Brady girls! But, you're right -- the hairstyles they stuck her with took away from that. Maybe they did that so that Jan wouldn't overshadow Marcia?

Gotta remember the character's appearances in this show were combination of what was stylish (70s) and what the older producers thought was attractive (50s and 60s). Jan's famous tendril curls were definitely considered pretty back then, but Marcia's natural simple hair was more current and definitely stood the test of time. It seemed that Schwartz was a bit more permissive with the actors having a say in their appearance as they aged up: letting Barry, Maureen, Florence, and eventually Eve choose their own hairstyles while he didnt let Mike and especially Susan change have a say in character's hair

Greg and Bobby act like they’ve never seen a girl with a towel on her head after washing her hair. They would’ve seen it all the time after living with their new sisters this long. Their reaction to Jan doesn’t make a lot of sense in the big picture but it worked for the scene. Also I think Eve’s acting in this scene was quite good and sort of transcended the “sitcom” style of acting.

She washed it yesterday. Unless your hair is greasy it should only be washed every few days or 1 time a week. Shampoo strips out natural oils your scalp needs. Condition only in between shampoos if you feel the need to use shampoo.
