To me there were quite a few. The one where the kids get mad at Alice, so she leaves, and then the kids go to a diner where she got a new job and they tell her they love her and want her to come back - that episode is one of the most touching for me. Or where Marcia gets kicked out of the school play because she's being difficult - then someone who played a much smaller part gets sick, and she offers to do it, and they let her back in - that one is also quite touching.

I love Robert Reed’s reaction when she tells him that she sold her bike to pay for the new picture. It’s subtle but you really feel like he’s saying to himself “Whoa! She’s already grown up” Reed wasn’t just a good actor playing a father, he really was a father figure to those kids off screen

I think Jan and Mike both have problems beyond prescription glasses. I swear there are no lenses. Just frames. There's absolutely no reflections from the lighting, but I do see reflections on the frames. Jan will continue to bump into things until she's mentally well enough to realize that wearing glasses without lenses doesn't correct vision. For Mike, and the entire family, to not even notice this tells me whatever mental illness there is must be contagious.

Being 100% funny all the time, or zany, slapstick humor, was really not the point of The Brady Bunch. It was intended to be a funny show, and in some cases was outright silly. But there was a lesson to be learned in every show. Almost every episode had a theme in which one of the kids had a lesson to learn. Think about who the intended audience of the show was - it was school age children. The kids watching the show could learn something from the lessons the kids on The Brady Bunch learned. There was a bit more reality to this show than there was to I love Lucy. I Love Lucy's intended audience was adults - so it's a bit different.
