Every Brady kid had at least one episode where something "goes to their head." Greg - thinks he's a great baseball pitcher; Peter - "hero" for saving girl; Bobby - school safety monitor; Marcia - Juliet in school play; Jan - most popular girl; Cindy - contestant on TV quiz show.

That's what the Brady Bunch movie from the 90s highlights, Marcia was really a passive aggressive bully half the time with the thinnest veneer of supposed care for others and the rivalry between her socially successful school life and Jan's constant struggle to try equalling her in status, sometimes successfully and usually failing was a real feature of the show. Jan the character was essentially used as an example of what not to do if you don't already have social status. The message in this show was know your place.

@@Loverof_christ99 You should it's the funniest parody of an old show I've ever seen. Basically the Brady family are living in the 90s exactly as they were in the 70s in a weird time bubble and naturally the 90s world is at odds with their 70s attitudes.

It's funny all three Brady sisters had a case of situation acquired narcissism first Marcia when she was chosen to play Juliet then Cindy when she was picked to be on that brain quiz TV show and now Jan after she was voted most popular girl. Although ironically none of the sisters show understanding or bring up any of their respective moments of being egotistical as an example of why said sister should be more humble. In this case both Cindy and Marcia could have brought up their moments of having big heads to Jan to dissuade her and in Cindy's case Marcia could've reminded her about the Juliet thing.
@alondralabute23104 ай бұрын
I wish they'd show scenes from the episode where Marcia plays Juliet. That's one of my favorite episodes.
@darrenmiles-morland80384 ай бұрын
How about Jan's brothers too? Peter was egotistical when he decided to have a party for himself after saving a girl from a falling bookshelf inside of the Driscoll's toy store, Greg thought that he was set to become the next best thing in baseball since Don Drysdale without having to listen to the advice of others along the way, and Bobby abused the authority that was given to him when he was picked by his school teacher to be a safety monitor.

They did this before in the season two episode when the boys are trying to find Myron the mouse! Bobby mentions how he bets his friend "Tom Tannenbaum" could find him! Thomas Tannenbaum was another crew member of the show!
