That’s amazing about Paul Winchell’s invention !!! That’s so much more than the TV ventriloquist that I remember him for 🥰

I remember around 1970 waiting anxiously for Friday night with my siblings to watch The Brady Bunch. We were allowed to have Jiffy Pop popcorn and Coke! Lol

I have also read that Robert Reed stayed on the 'Brady Bunch,' because he loved his TV children. He would take them out on vacation and bought them all movie cameras each, so that they can film every vacation spot in their travels.

I remember this episode very well. When you frequent these places, you must think to yourself, "Hey, this was filmed here", or "This happened here." At least I would. Great job, Jordan!!

Paul Winchell had a show on weekday afternoons in the 60s called The Winchell Mahoney Club that I watched as a kid. It was a comedy variety show starring his two ventriloquist dummies: Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff, and Paul operated them from behind their desk. They showed cartoons and various sketches. Mr Goody Good was one of my favorites.. Ah, sweet childhood memories! Paul Winchell also did one of the voices of a character on The Banana Splits - Fleegle the dog if I remember correctly. Thanks Jordan!

Paul Winchell was a great Ventriliquist and as a kid in the early 60's he had these two puppets that I loved who had their own kids show called Jerry Mahoney and KKnucklehead Smith. You can also see him on KZbin in a 1950's episode of What's My Line.

Great vlog down memory lane. I am falling in love with Hollywood (I wont touch on the dismal political system) and like you Jordan I have no love of cars, which is why 25 years ago, I said no more cars. You'll feel more free without an automobile. Anyway,,,,I remember as a kid, watching that episode when it originally aired. Gelson's looks pretty cool, looks like a boutique supermarket.
