Great fun song for all ages! It makes you think twice that you know growing up can be fun and sometimes frustrating and you want to rush it. But then when all of your growing up and your school years are over, you get a little sad cuz you're like I don't want to be an adult but I have no choice. I think all kids go through that, I sure did. However I do love being an adult and having more freedom to do the things I want even though I wish I could go back in time and enjoy those days where I didn't have to worry about anything having fun enjoying myself. Childhood is so great so enjoy it kids and don't fight the tide and go along for the ride when it's time to grow up and become an adult! :-)

Many Brady Bunch story lines were about situations that would never happen in real life. Early in the series it was established that Greg Brady could play guitar. He wrote a song about a girl that he fancied. The kids could all sing. Later on the kids went on a talent show to raise money for Mike and Carol's anniversary gift. Then Greg almost became a pop star named Johnny Bravo. This episode involved a suspension of disbelief. Greg wrote the song. The kids formed a pop group. Where did the backing music come from?

It’s a major development within the episode. Greg initially writes a song for them to sing. But upon practicing, Peter’s voice cracks while trying sing in the same pitch as Bobby and the girls. So they end up singing this song to account for the cracks in Peter’s voice. The lyrics are also about kids maturing into young adults.

I was “The Lost Brady”. I was Mrs. Brady’s illegitimate son from when she was in college. I only appeared in the pilot episode. I didn’t fit well in the script and story line, so they dropped my character after the pilot episode. I was like the “Chuck” from Happy Days. My character’s name was “Stan” and they didn’t like that it rhymed with Jan so, they had it in for me from the beginning. Besides, there were no more bedrooms. Where was I going to sleep? I suggested Mr. Brady’s den. But, NOOO! He was a friggin’ architect! That was where he did his precious little drawings! AND he was gay! Did you know that? Mr. Brady was friggin’ GAY! He was probably banging Peter and Bobby in his little “DEN”! Oh and Alice? ...a man. That’s right! Alice was a dude! Oh I could go on and on about that family. WHY? Oh, WHY didn’t they build an extra room and THEN there would’ve been a “STAN BRADY”! I even suggested the attic. But, again, they said NOOOO! “That’s for when Greg gets older!” AND they said they wanted an even number of kids in the show-3 boys & 3 girls AND THAT’S IT! But THEN, along comes “Cousin Oliver”!
