It's now 2023 and this piece was filmed 23 years ago in the year 2000. The Brady girls still look and act young both well into their 60's, because they are still young at heart! Thanks, girls and keep on being the Brady girls!

The cast was never paid appropriately for the impact that the had. Paramount made a fortune from that show, and it was the cast the viewers cared about.
@Bigbadwhitecracker
@Bigbadwhitecracker 5 жыл бұрын
But you can say that about any tv show from the same era - especially Star Trek, Gilligan etc. They got paid standard payment. Carroll O'Connor, Alan Alda, Redd Foxx and Larry Hagman changed ALL that soon after. So The Bradys just missed the lucrative rerun payments. They should have been well paid on concert tours and personal appearances though.

OneDayAfterAnother that's because everyone learned from their success to not sign the same type of contract! friends is on Netflix or whatever now and they make a million a year off that alone being viewed.

Why? Do the people who put your toilet together get a residual every time you flush it? Contracts were what they were, later the union negotiated residual payments, but are hardly what 'fans' think they are. The real money goes to the Owners of the show. Rightfully so, they took the risk, put up the financing, and for every hit they may produce dozens of pilots that never get picked up.

So there is a lot of loss as far as any memories of my past. Do you feel like you have more memories than the average person since so much of your childhood was on film, even the behind the scene stuff?

How nice that they can have such a sweet loving "reunion," and enjoy reminising about their years on the show, together. They both look good and it seems very normal. I wish the one that played Jan was as open to the fun of this. She clearly holds some sort of grudge to Maureen, which (aside from the real life of "Whatever!" it's none of my business,") it's almost ironic/funny. It can't help but make you think of the "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" thing. 😁😝😂.

Makes me think of the early episode where Jan is doing her level best to impress “Clark” and then sensuous Marcia sashays in. Clark gets a wide-eyed gander and so long Jan! It was the incident that set the stage for their series-long rivalry. Incidentally, while watching Jaws 2 some time back, I recognized that same boy all grown up as Chief Brody’s eldest son. I don’t seriously believe there’s any real-life resentment. Eve Plumb, as well as Maureen, has always been hot and cold on making “Brady” appearances.

Why don't they put all the wardrobe in a museum and other things so the entire public can see these wonderful things in stead of keeping it hidden away for only a few to see?

Born in 95 and growing up with the show I definitely identify with Maurine/Marcia “ I think I had a crush on them all” including the dad but I always thought Christopher/Peter was the best looking of them and definitely the one who aged the best out of the guys. Susan/Cindy aged well just looks nothing like she did on the show but Maurine/Marcia looks identical to her time on the show. If she never did a tv appearance after the 1974 cancellation people would still recognize her.

Never saw this before. It's nice to see the girls together and remembering eveyrthing. Of course, Eve can't be in the same room with Maureen for this story (or any story). They don't even stand next to each other in any of the HGTV photos for the upcoming Brady house remodel. It's a shame they had a falling out.
