I don’t have any problem with the battles reviewed at all. I think it would be awesome if at some point fans could vote on the website on which 3/4 battles they’d like to see reviewed for the brake down following the past round. Again, nothing absolutely wrong with these battles! just a thought. Always enjoy these mini episodes that give insight. Keep it up guys!

I side more with shared fault on the alec call, but I 100% see your side and this explanation really helps with understanding your thought processes and different ways to see battles.

Than you for the breakdown! But no I got even more questions specifically Forsberd vs Robbins: according to the brake zone map, the brake zone ends halfway between the concrete and the wall. At 19:38 Reese says " fosberg finished transition and is allowed to slow down a little bit" forsberd's car at that moment is pasted the brake zone that was provided. So either I have the wrong brake map, or just judge did not stick to the brake zone map. According to the brake zone map that was provided, Fosberg was slowing down way past the brake zone, but at least 4 car lengths. Regardless of the map, even if we listen to the Reese, fosberg did not just slow down a little bit, there was no smoke from 2 car length before the OZ2 to 1 car length in OZ2, almost every other good lead according to Reese (aasbo, Conor leads) there is tire smoke before OZ2. Fosberg is 1 car length in OZ2, brake lights ON, no smoke. At the moment of contract Forsberg tail light at ON, no smoke out of the rear wheels, momentum lights are not visible. This should have been Forsberg fault, IMO. Judges demand close tandem but then allow something like this, quite disheartening. In terms of suggestions, I think we need the brake zonearked on the track, like outside zones. I think this would take calls like this out of judges hands or at least make it less confusing.

To clarify, momentum light not visible (hard to see) to me from the stream.

I agree 100% with this. This would be a prime time to utilize the momentum lights for a decision on the Forsberg/Robbins battle

shared fault on robbins/forseberg for me. i could even see it being forseberg at fault.

I think when you’re asking drivers to drive in parallel in terms of matching angle it makes sense when cars make similar power and grip at angle, but when pairs like Aasbos and Shanahan battle, the car with more power will have more discretion with being able to pull back and match vs give it everything to keep up.

I wonder if there will be any tyre/grip regulations in the future, so there’s less racing in drifting. We see more and more 1300hp cars and some guys struggle to not finish their tyres in 2 runs.

Alec/forsberg battle, if forsberg would have lit off on correct timing, alec probably needed to cut the line to be able to keep proximity…. If you want battles like connor and aasbo, they just trust the lead to do the right thing and dive in every transition. Alec wasnt given that opportunity so I dont even think its shared fault, also following the logic you guys had in atlanta, it would be lead fault. Not to mention forsberg’s momentum lights didnt function… again.. Anybody else shared these thoughts?

Just to be clear and not to spread false information unnecessarily, CF's lights were working perfectly fine in that run. Nothing wrong with them whatsoever.
