The thirty year cycle is when kids of an era grow up and thirty years later become involved with the movie industry and hollywood and get to produce a life-like reanimation of their childhood which is why the 80's were prominent in the 2010's decade, (Stranger things, It remake) the 70's in the 2000's (that 70's show) the 60's in the 90's (fashion was very flower power filled) and the 50's in the 80's (back to the future)

Although "Fuck Skyler" is funny, I think she's one of the most interesting characters with her moral greyness and her relation and arch with Walter.
@sirbirbton4 жыл бұрын
I think a big reason people get so fed up with Skylar is because they fell into the trap of rooting for Walt so much that they see his adversaries the same way Walt himself sees them. The way the show follows Walt can make it very tempting to get sucked into his motivations and goals, so much so that people excuse the horrible shit he's done. They want to see him accomplish his goals, and don't really stop to consider who he's hurting in the process, like his family. Before Skylar started laundering his money, she had every right to be suspicious, angry and "bitchy" towards Walter. He was dissapearing for hours, sometimes days at a time, telling obvious lies only to gaslight her and even after she started helping Walter, Skylar still tried her absolute hardest to simply keep the family together. Where Walt often took unnecessary risks she would either be the one to pump the brakes or actually create a plan, and she was always way more concerned about her family being put in danger than Walter ever was. You could tell how terrified she was when she realized that her own husband was responsible for murdering Gus. The only thing I think she was wrong about was helping Walter and not calling the police once she found out who he was but even then, those were probably the result of him manipulating and gaslighting her. She really is one of the few mostly blameless characters in the show. Even if she made poor choices, she always made them for the right reasons much like Hank and Jesse.

Ah yes, the film which has the climatic and triumphant action scene for Jesse be where he kills two people, after he spent the entirety of BB being severely messed up by both watching other people get killed and by killing Gale. The two people he killed weren’t exactly good people, but they did not deserve to die. Yet Jesse is totally fine straight up murdering them. Such a weird ending for the character who for a long time served as the conscience in BB and was at one time so adamant that no one else should die because of him and Walt. Like, why undo that message and have the conclusion to his character be that he is just apparently fine with killing now? I didn’t really catch this the first time I watched El Camino, but the second time I watched it straight after BB and it’s pretty jarring. There are other problems with the film too but for me this is the big one. It betrays Jesse’s previous characterisation and role.

I have been watching back Malcolm in the Middle, and there's a scene where Lois comes home with a pizza and she has to cut it herself. I think it might be from Luigi's Pizza, sometime in season 5 or 6. this may or may not have any relation to the pizza not being sliced in BB.

That’s how it was written Edit: some people still are disagreeing or saying “it’s a theory” or “it’s up for interpretation” No, he’s literally a gay man, in BCS season 6 he’s got an entire scene showing him and another man at a bar flirting, Vince wrote another entire scene to make it VERY clear Gus likes Men. Don’t see what the problem with him being gay is or why so many people are in denial about the idea when it’s literally throw in your face.

Yes, he did escape in utter joy. Vince wanted you to feel like he is heading off to "something better". After watching the first minute and 10 seconds around a month ago, I binge-watched the entire series, and finished it in close to two weeks. I'm am really glad I didn't watch this video before watching Breaking Bad since I would've gotten everything spoiled for me. I had heard a few things about the show before watching it, saw a few memes and some positive reviews, but that was pretty much all that I knew about it. After watching all 5 seasons, I can say that I really wasn't dissapointed. Breaking Bad really lived up to the hype surrounding it, the story is captivating, thrilling and at the same time very emotional and character focused at times. I can trult say that at the moment, this show is by far the best television series I have watched. Almost every episode left me craving for more. There definitely were a few slower episodes mixed in with the action packed ones, but I honestly think it was nice 'having a break'. Overall solid 9.5/10. A few other scrapped plot lines that aren’t as crazy as the Tuco one but still worth mentioning: - Walt was originally supposed to meet up with an infamous Mexican drug cartel member in prison, but the writers decided against it because they couldn’t think of an organic way for it to happen - Originally for Season 3, they wanted to do a series of flash forwards like they did w/ the teddy bear in Season 2 but instead focusing on cowboys in the Wild West with the final episode featuring a shootout in the same location that the Season 3 finale would feature and parallel. Glad they didn’t go with this one, it would have been too jarring. - There was supposed to be a B plot line episode in Season 2 I think where Walt got put in jury duty and obsessed over the case and whether or not the person was guilty. I would’ve liked to see this one actually - There was also supposed to be a b-plot in season 2 where Skylar and Marie visited their father, who was basically a lying bastard and had a lot of parallels to Walt which would make Skylar more suspicious of Walt. This was at least in the script long enough for an actor to be cast for the role. And a few for Better Call Saul: - Better Call Saul was originally going to be a much shorter show and Jimmy would’ve basically become Saul in the season one finale with Marco’s death being the catalyst. However, they realized they wanted to do a lot more with the show, ending up with the season 2 premiere kinda backpedaling on that ending and the finale left as sort of a weird filler episode. - Marie was supposed to be Chuck’s doctor whenever he went to the emergency room in the season 2 finale as it was mentioned in Breaking Bad that she was an x-ray technician or something similar. Ultimately they cut this cameo out, which I’m glad for as it wouldve been way too big of a coincidence and they’ve flown a little too close to the sun with some of the cameos in the show already. - s1e5 “Alpine Shepard Boy” was supposed to be named “Jello” as all of the episodes in s1 end with the letter “o” but they couldn’t legally name it that. - This last one isn’t a scrapped plot line but rather something that hasn’t happened yet that I feel is worth mentioning. Walt and Jesse have long been theorized to show up at some point in BCS. Vince and Bryan have both said they’d be up for it. I think El Camino was the perfect close-off to Jesse’s character and Aaron Paul is way too old now to play a past Jesse. However, with Saul, Gus and Mike all being main characters in BCS and with the final season potentially overlapping with the Breaking Bad timeline, I think it’d be perfect to see Walt one more time to show how different he is in the narrative whenever you view him from other character’s perspectives. - Finally just a couple ridiculous BCS fan theories I remember: Kim is going to fuck Chuck which leads to Chuck killing himself and Kim ends up addicted to drugs and becoming Wendy from Breaking Bad. Yeah...I’m glad fans didn’t write the show. I wrote all of this off the top of my head so if I got any of the details wrong please let me know

There shoulda been one more addition to the Iceberg. Not many breaking bad fans know about this unless you watched season 1 when it first came out. There was a flash game called "Walt's Warning" walt chases you down after you catch him cooking meth in his RV, he kidnaps you, and talks to you. He even says your name, or whatever name you put in. He burns a picture you select, and depending on your actions, he will knock you out in different ways, if you stare at his gun, he'll pistol whip you. Or his chemistry set, where he knocks you out with sleeping gas. It's no longer attainable. It was used as a promotional advertisement for the show. It was extremely cool.

A couple more things- Mike was very nearly not in the show at all and wouldn't have been in Better Call Saul either; when Jane died Saul was supposed to help Jesse with the body, but Bob Odenkirk was unavailable so they created The Cleaner (Mike). The show parallels the song El Paso by Marty Robbins- he falls in love with Felina (the blue meth) and has to flee town, only to return and be shot to death. In the last episode, Felina (with is also an anagram of Finale) the song even plays when Walt steals the car in New Hampshire, and the lyrics at that point in the song directly describe what's happening. There's a very well edited youtube video that illustrates the connection, just search Breaking Bad El Paso.
