saw him in North Carolina a month later. Same set. Great new stuff. Amazed folks cheered for new stuff, which sounds like a breakthrough or something. The shows lags more here than it did in NC, but hey -- they're all different. He didn't say much here, but he was chatty at the Asheville show. Interesting observations, and often, ranting at the amp. "FUCK FENDER" he shouted, immediately after finishing a beautiful song. It was weird how focused he is yet aware of his environment. Thanks for coming to the South, Anton. We love ya too!!

I was at both the Asheville and Carrboro shows. First time I'd seen them and was just blown away. Looking forward to seeing them again, hopefully later this year.
