Brian explains and demonstrates how to use the weight of the clubhead and the "ground up" change-of-direction of the pivot, to stress the shaft and add wrist cock and potential power, like the great Jack Nicklaus.

Awesome stuff! If you want to feel no effort as you swing this is what you should do!

Great video but I see no evidence of a "lagging clubhead takeaway" in Jack's swing when I look at slow motion videos. It appears more like a one piece takeaway where everything (club, hands, arms and shoulders) move together. There is no doubt however that he "float loads" and it doesn't really matter how he gets there but get there he does very well. "The change in direction must be smooth" Jack Nicklaus

i understand what hes talking about with 'float loading', but i dont see why u cant move the lower body whilst the arms are still goin back. ther are vids of bubba watson and padraig on youtube that show this explicitly

I always knew that there must be a secret to playing good golf. You have just revealed it in this vid. Swinging this way has made an amazing improvement to my game overnight. Many thanks, Master!

this guy is BRILLIANT!!! Nicklaus' float loading technique allowed him to make it IMPOSSIBLE to release the club too early, If the float loading is done correctly you can hit the ball as hard as you can and not release it early. Jack couldn't put it into words properly in his "Golf My Way" but combine it with this video and you will understand what Jack meant when he said "It is impossible to release the club too early as long as you move to your left side first". "Float loading" was missing :(

the way he presents this sounds no nonsense but it is truly one of the few on this damn website that know what he is talking about
