Dear Natho Linggi, Pramod Mathur, the director passed away in June 2020. This is Neelima Mathur, his wife, trying to maintain his KZbin protocol of response. The film was made in 2002, 18 years ago. Yes, it was very tough for him and his team to accomplish this task. He always carried very fond memories of all the people he met and told me many little stories that are not included in the film. So, I too cherish this film.

@@neelimamathur7752 sorry to hear that news. My condolences to you ma'am. I have never met your late husband, but by just seeing the video I feel that he was a very honourable man and down to earth person. Take care of yourself ma'am.🙏

@@natholinggi3 Thank you, Natho Linggi. My husband was also a very humble man (unlike many film-makers!) and could so easily connect with people at the ground level - even without knowing their language. See the film "Jungle Dreams'...I think you will appreciate it. It is based in Bastar area. Also "Little Tales from India".

Dear Kotigemena, Thank you for your valuable comments on our film on the Idu Mishmi. As you have mentioned - the subject needs more and extensive research, I agree with you. The film is just an overview introduction of the community and does not claim to be an anthropological study. I would love to go back to them if I can get hold of a doctoral thesis so that and anthropological film can be produced for posterity. It would be wonderful to meet you. Pramod Mathur sir your documentary on idu tribe is very good, I wish you could go to regions like, etalin, angolin, Malini, anini, mipi, dambin etc. There you will find more good knowledge of idu ethnicity. It has been hidden from the outside world since ages. Your work is really applaudable , it has brought the unknown tribe to the twilight zone,
