The glove box light is easy. After taking out the 3 front screws...The front button to turn the light on and off has 2 clips on the sides. (Like the upper map lights) Pull the switch out with a small screw driver. Easy access to bulb. No having to reach fingers under lip.

Do you know where I can get just the buttons? I had one break while I was driving down the road. Pretty annoying to have the light flashing on and off with every bump.

@@NajarOffroad The ones in the rear passenger light fixtures for certain, but I think they are all the same. I have not disassembled the cargo light yet. The VIC light switches look to be the same as the rear passenger lights.

Where did you find the replacement switch for the rear passenger lights? I have not been able to find any. Both of mine are broke on my 2000 Jeep grand Cherokee limited

What was the resistor for in the old kit?

The resistor would fix issues with the led lights staying on dim

@@NajarOffroad Makes sense! I swapped to LEDs before you came out with your kit (and paid WAY more finding individual bulbs) but I never added a resistor. I never adjust my brightness so I never noticed an issue! Lol. I'm going to have to see if I can dim my light now...

I have the old kit and ordered the new kit a few days ago because the rear passenger lights still strobe if there is no other power consumption. Even with the resistor installed. I found with the glove box bulb you can gently pull on the seam and bulb socket towards the seat to get the bulb out easier.

I have a similar issue with my older version of the kit as well. All of my lights would stay on very dim even with the resistor installed. Can I simply swap out the rear passenger lights with the ones from the new kit?
