70000 'Britannia' returns after being out of action for 7 months for repairs.
First seen on a misty morning leaving Crewe on the first of two trips to Chester and back then later on the return.
Finally leaving Crewe on the second run.

The Llangollen Railway is hosting a Branchline Gala this April. Mr. DMU will be running, alongside Austin no. 1, Little Miss J94, 7754 and 3802. I'm attending, and I'll bet you'll want to be there too.

Without even considering this locos building and running for BR, it has one enormous history in preservation. I suppose that is reasonable enough as it has now been a 'preserved loco' for 80% or so of its total life.😂

Great capture. What were the timings, I was passing through Crewe at 11.00 and 17.00.
