Packard Motor Company and Ford made more aircraft engines between 1941-1944 than all the axis nations combined. Studebaker 3-axle trucks did not just carry the US army, they made up about half of all soviet trucks, and was the direct ancestor of the iconic Ural truck.

“If I don’t know what I’m doing - the enemy doesn’t know either” seems to be an actual historical IJN doctrine. For example, when they have planned a raid in Indian Ocean, the allies knew Japanese plans before they even departed, but instead of following their own plans, IJN decided to send the assigned aircraft carriers to pursue a non-existent US fleet, where they hit the ground and had to postpone the operation due to the repairs, which actually allowed them to surprise the allies

Blackice is both amazing and horrible. It's like being a kid with 10 dollars in your pocket inside the largest toy store in the world, where the cheapest toy is 11 dollars. The naval and tank designers are amazing in that you can more or less replicate historical designs with reasonable stats, but the economy, even for majors, is abymsal But world Ablaze having a more simplified naval designer and an extremely limited tank designer allows for closer-to-accurate historical production numbers (both for tanks and ships)

Oh wow I remember helping to write the book for this theater in Black Ice. You learn that has bad as Germany is for issues like military branch rivalries or logisitic issues... Japan has the same. Just more so. ... Last I played the key strat was like 2 armor "divisions" of 1 light 1 medium tank w/ truck troops and lots of light infantry. You sprint into China and just keep pushing hoping you can outrun your logistics nightmares that the inevitable Red Army Guerillas will bring.

Historically, the reason for the late Japanese mobilization at 4:26 is quite simple: After the firefight at the Marco Polo Bridge, the Japanese government under Prime Minister Konoe Fumimaro initially reacted very hesitantly to the news of battle, with the intention of NOT(!) allowing the situation to further escalate, as Japan (who would've thought) wasn't prepared for a full-blown conflict with China. In contrast, there was the Kwangtung Army stationed in Manchuria, which had already shown strong initiative during the Japanese occupation of Manchuria in 1931. In order to escalate the conflict in China they once again deceiving the Japanese government about their true intentions by falsely claiming that Japanese troops in China were in grave danger. While the Kwangtung troups moved further and further into China the government found itself unable to stop their own troups or expose itself before world and Japanese public of having lost control of its own army, the Japanese government finally gave in and began mobilizing. So the Nationalist army officers finally prevailed by once again confronting the government in Tokyo with a fait accompli.

I don’t know how no one knows how bay works it’s pretty easy submarines if your a minor and some balanced fleet for a major like USA soviets Britain and maybe Canada Australia or etc you cbs build small fleet for anti sub anti air build destroyers and cruisers with air support navy’s pretty fun and not well played part of the game upgrade isn’t your subs and spamming them is the easiest way to rent enemy’s if you don’t know how to play navy
