I agree that he deserves this award. Personally, I don't care much about race or gender or whatever. I look for the quality of the person. I am not particularly a fan of those who make this such an issue, but I recognize Adam's commitment to it. And of course I am an old guy fan of his talent. Now if he could only realize that Trump is the most pro-LGBT politician in the US, and stop being flippantly negative towards Trump, life would be good.

damone Adam always acknowledges his fans when appropriate, and BTW wants them to be positive and not trying to find fault. HOWEVER, this was BRITISH award and voted for by Brits ... no US Grannies involved. He rightfully highlighted Brian May & Roger Taylor as it is that collaboration which elevated his British muso profile at this point in time. I have no doubt at all that he will have totally his own music profile in the UK of epic proportions, but again that will not be due to any "US Grannies" but to a) his own talent and b) the BRITISH fans who follow him.
