Excellent show was up there Saturday and saw you at the SGC stand but you were deep in conversation. There was some excellent rifles and shotguns there. Very impressed with the blaser stand and that Mauser was a beauty

.....does the M18 have a threaded receiver or is the barrel a press-fit,...how are they to replace?...TIA

I believe it’s threaded, supposedly easy removal. M28x1 RH threaded if sources are correct. Good question, since other Blaser/ Mauser/ Sauer corp. rifles are non threaded fits, like Sauer 404 f.ex.

Confused - I thought firearms were pretty much out of the reach of sporting UK shooters for range work these days, and really only those working the land were eligible. Certainly large cal magazine fed rifles I thought were completely outlawed. Time to do some research I think.

you thought wrong ! ARs are getting popular here now, that US companies such as CMMG, LMT , POF, and others are making straight pull ARs for the UK market also german AR maker, schmesisser .

Blaser ahhh. Always telling us how good we should feel. After deciding against an R8 6 yrs ago because of the pathetic barrel twist rates Blaser impose upon their customers, I thought for sure the Blaser twist rate fiasco must be sorted by now. As it turns out, not at all. Since Blaser don't seem to give a rats ass about their customers, I'll take my 10K elsewhere, "again".
