Having several R8 myself I can confirm all statements. All of them shoot perfectly, no matter which stock or caliber I‘m using. Great accuracy and handling, too. Due to the fact I‘m changing scopes between the different R8 (one scope for driven hunts in 1-8x24and another one for night time hunting in2.3-18x56) I‘m using the Dentler mounts (Vario Model). The Blaser mounts are very accurate as stated when you remove the scope and put it back on. No need to zero the scope again. However if you want to use the same scope on two or even three R8 it won‘t work as you need to re-zero the scope for each caliber. With the Dentler Vario you zero the scope on one rifle once and on the other ones you‘re using the mount itself to zero the scope. This way it‘s fully interchangeable and the repeat accuracy is absolutely perfect. 👍🏻 Maybe you guys can do a test of the Dentler Mounts at some point - they‘re just amazing! 😃

Beautiful smooth rifle. I did have different thought of the 'synthetic stock' but then I thought that when I bought my Browning T Bolt in .22 magnum and the Tikka T1x , these rifles do NOT have those cheap plastic hollow sounding stocks. It's quite obviously an accurate rifle. ( not to mention the shooting ability of the shooter.!

I have eaten Red Deer venison and Roe Deer venison. Not Sika or Muntjac as yet. Red Deer is a dry venison but very tasty. Roe deer is more moist i find but still very tasty again.

Out here in East Anglia, Muntjac is commonly considered to be the best of all venison (at least amongst those I know who shoot)

Not a fan of the stock design. It reminds me of a cheap break-barrel air rifle.

With a name like Blaser and that's what you think of? ( No I'm not trying to get on your case, but just look at the rest of the features in and on this rifle! ) I'd buy one in a heart beat, IF I were in the market.

Over pumped. 8.6 lbs should be as captioned, 6.8. This show's in freefall.

Superlight???? at 8.5lbs bare weight? did I hear that right? I would rather carry my Nissan Patrol .!

No you heard wrong, he said 8.6lbs bare weight. However he actually meant 6.8lbs bare weight.
@ruthless46453 жыл бұрын
No I think you didn't hear right, it's 6.8lbs bare weight. Check @ 4:55..

@@duopkik So I heard right but he was wrong. Yes in my opinion if you can get an all up weight of 7.5 lbs. then it is just about right. A lb. for scope and rings is achievable. However his rig would be well in to the 8lb and more bracket so not light weight at all. Ok for that sort of dilly dallying, but not serious mountain work. I am making use of freedom of speech here that we don't really have anymore. So so refreshing. Plus I know a thing or to of course.
