I can totally understand why Michael carraher joined the ira and took up the barret he took on the very people who murdered his brother and shot him in the back and they didn't like it men like pat Kellys and brenden burns really took the fight back to the British and after watching this you can understand why

Stone mad to see Miceal Caraher the South Armagh sniper interviewed on this. Nobody watching at the time knew he was the sniper though.

@@elzorro7of9 I am not sure if Caraher was actually doing the sniping when this interview was broadcast because as you say we don't know the exact date it was aired but I wouldn't be surprised if he was. The murder of his brother Fergal by Royal Marines was definitely a contributing factor in him joining the IRA and becoming a member of the sniping team but he comes from a very Republican family anyway.

Caraher bros were both P-IRA, no mention of this in these staged interviews, I wouldn't believe a word of any of this. 0:16 - little boy blue playing up to the camera as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth in total innocence, was arrested with a P-IRA sniper team a few years after this.

@@Horizon344 This is what you fail to understand about the conflict in Ireland,, yes British intelligence had Belfast and it was known, The PIRA had all the names, but that is part of warfare and if the war had to go on indefinitely against the British state the PIRA had the financial backing and man power to do it right up to 1997 , A lot of people would have been killed in Belfast .
