i’m not a simp it’s not awful, just an averagely acted movie with typical teen romcom plot points, with awful characters (main one being Georgia). But i love it and it’s the foundation of British teen culture.

The OG (It's a remake of a Dutch show) is even better. Trust me, the phone calls, Viktor (his name is spelled with a K in the original), everything is even creepier. Just google 'Huis Anubis Viktor (played by Walter Crommelin)' and you'll see the overall look of him itself is creepy. Like, he has a wart, he's balding and the way he wears his strings of hair is almost like a sinister parody of that one teacher in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

@@sm_3x Also, one more thing is that aside from the OG being even creepier, the characters are much deeper in the OG. Like Mick wants to study medicine so he can find a cure for his blind little sister, OG Amber was a pretty fashionista in the OG too, but her outfits were much more flattering to her slim gifure, she wore more colourful clothes and she was less of a posh bitch. Like, she was much more friendly towards Nienke (Nina) in the OG, and when moving on from Mick to Alfie/Appie she was much less demanding. Patricia acted like a Jade West wannabbe in the remake, but once they befriended her she was more like a Janis Ian type of character. The remake felt like caricatures of the OG characters to be honest.
