I'd love more Arcs content. Always cool to hear your thought process while you play.

Nice job, Orski. Excited that you're getting into Arcs content. Always enjoy hearing you commentate and think through your turns a bit while simultaneously playing. I need some strategy tips!

1:11:23 Maybe I'm missing something but, I believe this is was a 4th attack. I feel like it's easy to miss out when being attacked multiple times especially if nobody is keeping count of the number of attack that occurred. 1:10:10 First attack with 3 skirmish dice 1:10:25 Second attack with 2 assault and 1 skirmish dice 1:10:52 Third attack with 1 skirmish, 1 assault and 1 raid dice Btw, this game was super easy to follow. I love that you're commentating during the game session explaining your thought process. Great game I wish your opponent would have been more high spirit, especially blue. But hey, people will react differently and we're all subject to feeling salty from time to time.

Good video. I like how your commentary kept the game, focused and easy to follow.

Blue's chapter 4 plays were questionable as heck. Also very surprised white didn't destroy a city to claim the zillion captives on call to action in chapter 3, that should've been a priority target Hope to see more videos like this from you! Love your approach to the game

Really enjoyed your commentary on this. Watching tts games usually make me dizzy, but this was great. Do you have a preference between 3 and 4 player? I've played both but can see strengths in both. The 7 card definitely changes the game quite a bit

Gotta love white's humour in the game, good for them, even if the heart of the cards didnt work out this time!

I'm amazed to see how you finished a 3 player game in 1,5h. Sure, it was finished by conceding, but if I understood you correctly even if you had played it all the way through, it would not have taken that much longer. In general the speed of play was baffling to me who only played one 2p game that took ~4h including the teach. If you had to guess, how many games of Arcs have the players in this game already played? I'm wondering how long it would take to become this proficient in the game =)

Putting one agent on a card vs putting two or three seems to be a bad play in general since it just sets you up to get overtaken by another player, unless you have ways to seize/secure shortly after

Can somebody explain to me how to find games of Arcs? (Installed Tabletop Simulator and realized it has no matchmaking functionality.)

I think the main thing is finding discord groups to join people.

Can you explain why you didn't declare tyrant with your last card in chapter 2? It looked safe as there was no bidding war in the court.
@orski782 ай бұрын
Tyrant is one of the safest ambitions to maintain control of if you have a big lead - there are no ways to steal them or generate a large number of captives in a short amount of time. When I have a big lead I like to hold off on declaring until the point values are maxed and I think I can gain a big lead. If you declare it earlier you get fewer points and get out to a lead earlier so opponents are more likely to team up on you

I thought slingshot was blocked in the gate when opponent ships are present no?
@orski782 ай бұрын
Only in gates “controlled” by an opponent - ie whoever has the most fresh ships there. If there is a tie then no1 controls it and you can still slingshot
@scottbrennan80442 ай бұрын
@@orski78 Got ya - thank you!
@MichelWynants-qd5po2 ай бұрын
If two opponents are tied nobody controls the gate and you can catapult further. If there is one opponent who controls (even with one ship) and you catapult with more, your move ends.

It certainly seems like a fun game, but it's also so mean that it really doesn't seem like it's for everyone. Also can't help but wish board games would push harder to move away from dice. I guess having in-built rerolls as a compensation mechanism is nice but I still shudder whenever I see combat dice.

You REALLY need to write down any time you see your opponents' hands. Not taking anything from white that turn was just a waste if teal could have given you something.
