My ex boyfriend is still out there in the streets doing K-2 and crack thank god for waking me up on leaving him for my better future and goals and just by me watching this is most definitely letting me know that he is still homeless and doing the same thing without caring and I thank the person for posting this video to let other people aware of what is actually happening in these streets.

My grandparents lived on Tremont in the Bronx, in a building with lion statues in the front, no elevator. In the sixties when I was a kid in Rutherford, NJ. It was cool as we would just walk to the Bronx Zoo when we visited.

This is the exact area I pass out food to people on the street twice a week. I also go to church in the area. It just misses the hot spots where the unfortunate things happen. Last time i was in Bronx, standing next to this hole in the wall chicken place eating my meal an old woman came up to me offering me a few crumbled up dollar bills, i said no thanks and told her i was just visiting. Maybe that's why i feel rather safe in Bronx, because folks incorrectly think im one of the undesirable elements.

I've always found NYC so fascinating, just the sheer scale of it. I grew up in a very big city, Sydney Australia, but compared to NYC it seems tiny. It feels like New York is endless.

I use too live in the Bronx, from 2000 to 2004, I love ❤️ the Bronx certain parts you see..Umm I don’t know how it is now..But yeah the Bronx is cool,especially the Grand Concourse with those apartments with the Sunk in living rooms, is the best, probably ultra expensive now, when I lived there my rent was get ready y’all, $550.00 yes $550.00 it would never be that way again/ EVER..

I live in Boulder, CO. Those homeless people don't look much worse than what we have here. Really this didn't look all that bad. I mean , it wasn't good, but much of it was what I expected to see in the Bronx. Working-class neighborhoods, lots of immigrants and people from all over, lots of homeless and some criminal-looking types. Nothing scary though, this video doesn't at all live up to it's title.
