Kayla's reconstruction could do pretty well in a dedicated deck with artifact lands, though not sure they are a lot of those in the set. But even then, it would mean ramping, which is not really what you want if your deck is also filled with 2-3 drops.

Nice review, thanks! I'm surprised with the no time spent on Calamity's Wake. It can counter a lot of graveyard synergies at instant speed (prevents unearth). Definitely a sideboard card I'm happy to take in bo3.

One other trick with Fateful Handoff - you can use it on a prototyped card (the Goring Warplow is ideal) to draw 6 cards at the cost of giving your opponent a 1/1 deathtouch. Because the artifact doesn't LTB, it stays at its lower prototype stats, but keeps its mana value! EDIT: Actually, it doesn't do this, and the card just sucks unless you have 4 mana left after unearthing some big creature.

AFAIK, prototype means that their mana value as a permanent is equivalent to whichever cost you paid. So won't quite work like that.

I think Penregon Strongbull is stronger than C. You can activate his ability many times, and can be a good endgame minion, not the +1/+1, but the one damage per mana spent.

Only just started watching but already the Urza rating seems weird to me. 3 mana for a 2/4 is already reasonable for limited as a blocker, and you only need to use the discount one time for it to be a good card. In the right deck it's going to get a ton of discounts and value. It's similar to the Yotian Dissident which you gave a B. That card needs 1 counter to be a hard to cast 2/2 (below rate due to GW cost) and 3 counters to be a good card, otherwise it's just a hard to cast 2 mana 1/1. I'd argue both the cards abilities are equally powerful when in the right deck.

Urza is easier to compare to Foundry Inspector, although it commits you to two colors. Great if you're already UW, but wouldn't go out of my way to first pick.

I think your rating or urza lord protector is wrong. he is a decent body for 3 mana and he helps you play big artifacts which are powerful creatures in this set a turn earlier. he is a solid B.

It heavily restricts how you can build your decks, Collected Company was never a great limited card for instance. It will certainly have its moments but people underestimate the math behind these types of cards.
