I was friends with Jerry’s son in grade school, the boy in the jacket signing the sign in the opening. I remember his dad coming into our class to show us this when they finished it. Very cool. Jerry is a great guy. So humble and kind.

Those were the great times of Browns football. I am proud to say that I was at every home game. Thanks to my dad. I will never forget. I miss that old dump in a weird way. You have had to go to a game to know about the old lady on the lake. Memories forever! Indians included!

As you can probably tell, I'm an ardent Packers fan. It pains me to see what Browns fans have had to endure. They ask for your support, your loyalty, your money and then they take away the franchise. Browns fans were fully justified in expressing their anger and revulsion at the Modell family. It only seems right to strip the stadium of your memories. And I don't know what's worse, losing your team to another city or having a dunce billionaire owner run the second iteration of the team into the ground. Cleveland fans are the best fans in football. Period. Maybe the best fans in any sport, anywhere. I hope, in my lifetime, to see your proud city take home a Lombardi Trophy. May it happen sooner than later.

22 YEARS LATER AND IM CRYING ALL OVER AGAIN. I WAS AT THAT GAME WITH MY DAD I WAS 6 I REMEMBER I STARTED CRYING BECAUSE MY DAD STARTED CRYING AND IT WAS THE ONLY TIME I EVER SAW MY DAD CRY THAT BEING SAID NOW THAT WE HAVE A FRANCHISE QB IN BAKER, AND AN ABOVE AVERAGE ROSTER THE BROWN HAS OFFICIALLY ARRIVED BACK TO THE NFL !!!1!
