During the Second World War, there was a significant degree of resistance against the Nazis and Germans as they captured large amounts of territory and land. The most successful resistance group was the Partisans, who operated in the Balkan States and did cause significant damage to the German Army. They also helped the Red Army's advances towards the end of the conflict, but the Partisans utilised many different people to conduct operations.
Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was just a teenage girl, being 18 years old when she was executed by the Nazis for her involvement in Partisan activities. She had been caught attempting to burn a barn in a small Soviet village, as she and fellow Partisans had tried to carry out Stalin's orders to sabotage German settlements. After she was captured she was horrifically tortured but refused to give over any information to her enemies. Because of this the Germans sentenced her to death.
Days after her capture, she was led out from her prison cell in the freezing cold snow. A large crowd had gathered to witness her execution, and she defiantly went to her death calling on the crowd to rise up against the Germans. She was only just 18 when she was killed.
So join us today as we look at, 'The BRUTAL Execution Of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya - The Teenage Girl Executed By The Nazis.'

@89F Do you? Just because our evil western governments are not (yet) dressed in uniform and goose stepping armies through our streets, does NOT mean that these politicians are not following the same plans. Have you heard about the so called Covid internment camps in Australia? I bet you won’t believe they are for anything evil unless they have a Nazi flag or Chinese flag flying, as you enter the gates. And, even if they did have such flags, you seem the sort to find some excuse or reason why it’s still not bad! Some people just seem too thick to understand what is going on. Smh

We shouldn't judge them so harshly. Today's teenagers live in peace and relative prosperity, and it's their right to enjoy it. While doing so, they demand changes in legislation, in our customs (equality), and our perception of other people (LGBT). They shape the world with means, that are known to them, and it is good, because this is their world too, they want to make it better. We can't definitely say, that if someone had droped a bomb on their house, they wouldn't take up arms, as many of them has no problem joining the army.

@89F But for what ? Many of these medals given by the nazis , were for so called anti partisan actions , involving the murder and pacification of entire villages and towns . No doubt , there were individual acts of bravery , which would justify such an honour , but i take most nazi decorations with a pinch of salt . But most of these people are now dead and hopefully face a higher court than public opinion .

The destruction of Tokyo killed an estimated one million. If the war continued, the Americans would have continued bombing japan unfettered because the Japanese were almost defenceless against the B29 bomber raids...another result of the use of the nuclear bombings is that it showed both the Soviets and the Americans the terrifying consequences of a nuclear war because it came perilously close in the 1960s...by the way, the revenge bombing of Dresden was huge, but the firestorm bombing of Hamburg was even bigger. For those who compare Nazism and communism, after the victory over the Nazis in the USSR, it was said: "- Hitlers come and go, but the German people remain.", and now compare this with the comments of anti-communists (below), who justify the Nazis, the death of peaceful citizens of the USSR, who were not all communists.

For me as a convinced opponent of the death penalty, executions are always brutal and cruel, no matter where, how and why they are administered. Why did this tragedy happen? Because two criminal regimes sent brainwashed people, among them many in their teenage years, to war. On the eastern front both regimes did not respect the rules of warefare, defined in the Geneva and in the Hague convention. Of course, Hitler made the first step, so he is the aggressor. Even if "Operation Barbarossa" was intended as a preventive war against a planned communist world revolution, for which we have no clear evidence, it was a breach of international law and a crime against humanity. Let's hope that the nations learn from the past and such things will never happen again.

So how would you advise today’s people in how to deal with our despotic leaders, throughout the western world? These “paid-for politicians” have no morals and care nothing for the citizens, as long as they get their money. How do you stop people like this for their obvious treason? Unfortunately, it’s because of your liberal thinking, and turning the other cheek to the lying monsters, that we find ourselves in the mess we are in today. Sometimes war and bloodshed is needed to stop such tyranny. You will find that people, like you, against the death penalty, are in the minority.

Could you explain why an execution is sometimes in your words "justified" and in some "brutal". An execution is an execution.
