He truly sounds like a layperson trying to lay out hazard scenarios of which there are many. It's good to see him concerned and to push the agenda amongst the super rich. No the world is not healthy, nor are it's population and waiting for nature to 'take care' of it or waiting for technology to catch up and save everything (without the funding), is just wishful thinking.

As a small regenerative farmer I really wish people like him who care about the environment and desire to invest in the restoration of the natural ecosystem would set up foundations to help young people start small regenerative farms. I talk to these people every day who want to start regenerative farms and raise their families on the land and they can’t even come close to affording 40 acres. I guarantee these farmsteads will collectively bring back the insects. I have seen an explosion of birds and insects in the 3 years I’ve been doing this.

Totally agree. I was disappointed when I saw it appear on KZbin. Big mistake. I was listen to it with such care for 2 hours. This was in my opinion the best episode. Jeremy is a legend, and was great to hear from a person with values and principles. With that I think there's an over simplification of why these companies are ahead. He mentioned Apple has to stay "one step ahead of competition" as a former Windows user Mac OSX felt several steps ahead. As a Nokia n95 user the original iPhone was several steps ahead. So this is more than brand marketing. The value made here launched the biggest companies in the world through the app store.
