I can't tell you all the look of dissapointment and repressed disgust on my driver's face of like...just trying to get through the day without some idiot tourist spilling bubble tea all over his bus. I wanted to cry. The ride up felt like a road trip with parents you had just gotten into an argument with, but then needed to be in the car for hours on end (it was only about an hour, but it felt longer). So my lesson to you all - don't drink bubble tea and vlog. Know that even when they are sealed, if you sandwich it under your arm pit because you need to vlog and tap the travel card at the same time, it will explode👍 As usual, hope you all have a lovely week and stay kind❤❤

It happens 🤷 The bus driver will get over it and eventually forget all about it. I'm sure he's experienced much worst than spilt bubble tea while on the job.

Oh but the look on the driver's face...of....disappointment and shame and disgust and the inability to tell an adult woman to get her act together and stop spilling entire containers of vegan milk tea with tapioca pearls all over his bus😭 The fact that I had to witness that scene over and over while editing is punishment I deserve😭😭I'm still horrified!

Jiufen was one of my favorite places when I visited back in 2014! I’ve really been enjoying your Taiwan videos, and I’m living vicariously through them lol. I was attending a fairly intense study abroad program when I was there, so we weren’t able to visit and explore a lot outside of our group.

You're like a slightly cross Japanese tourist who got splashed by washing-up liquid thrown from the back of a cafe, LOL! Random markets under viaducts are the best. I will never forget one that I encountered unexpectedly under criss-crossed freeway overpasses in a village in the mountains of southern Poland decades ago, so many interesting things. You really get into the local culture when you travel, Christina; I admire how quickly you "go native." I wish I could do this! Everything there is so scenic. Thanks for bringing us along!

I'm glad you enjoyed it ❤❤ hehe, going local...pretty much just being a mess for the cameras hehehehe. But you all know I like the local stuff...see where people actually shop...flea markets, etc etc...though Jiu Fen is probably one of the busiest tourist spots. There were so many ppl there!! Oh gosh - Poland..it's on my list. A person I did pottery with (also a professional tattooist) was from there. But I do wish I knew someone there because it will be hard to do the kinds of trips I like without one....gosh a market under a viaduct in a village in southern Poland 😍

I have decided: next January I am going to Taiwan! A dream coming true! I have a friend in Kaohsiung, I'll stay there, however, I'd like to visit Taipei and other places...can you recommend anything that I should definitely visit? Is there a website or something like that that can give me some tips on how to purchase the bus tickets (I'm sorry for your tea incident btw) and anything useful? Thank you!

Hey can i make a video request? Can u try to make a better textured bread using the recipe of 5 eggs ,2 cups corn starch, salt and baking powder. I used this recipe yesterday to make a Brazilian sponge cake called pão de ló but instead of salt i used sugar and when i tell u the texture is exactly bread-like I am begging you to use this recipe and show us how it turned out.❤ Also u bake it for 35 to 40 min at 180°c. Ps i know I'm spamming but i really want u to try it please ❤
