@William Fotiou I guess you're an excellent drummer
@johnyepthomi8925 жыл бұрын
@William Fotiou would like to see you or your cat do something like this.. he has skills that can be translated to actual drums . It's his timing ability that is what people love about him , not the timbre of the buckets. I'm sure you have no clue what drumming is all about. Don't mock what you don't know.
@amiralnawab64655 жыл бұрын
William Fotiou leave
@yeshnaidoo70855 жыл бұрын
@William Fotiou it's really not. It's still percussion. Plus he obviously has an understanding of basic rudiments and timing. Those can be applied to an acoustic kit. Also, would love to see your cat's progress
@TuaTeMauAkauAtea10 ай бұрын
Drumeo should patrocine this guy, he deserve a eletro drum in complete kit. He's talented... The guy plays buckets and pans and plates in the street, frying pan, electronic drums in his hand, it becomes an electronic samba school without exaggerating anything. If they give him the acoustic drums, a studio will come, the guy is from another dimension, he will go far.

You're right it's not about the gear, but he's limited to this gear and won't be able to learn any new techniques. Also he won't able to use these techniques on a professional kit.

@DannyFJhonstonB5 жыл бұрын
LOL, true!
@renedominguez98825 жыл бұрын
Funny though that an $8000 drumkit is really just pots and pans when it comes to shells. People dont even realize how much companies marketing have bamboozled consumers to making them think those insanely overpriced high end series drum shells are worth the money when shell material yields little to unheard results especially in full set play and with a band, because they cant or don't do their own research. You play the head not the shell. It's physics. The shell material only contributes to roughly 20% of the sound. Trust me I was a believer too before being shown the evidence. Look up drum shell comparison here on youtube. God Bless!
@tsangarisjohn5 жыл бұрын
True, but imported woods and the engineering that goes into making them look and sound nice does validate some of the costs. Definitely marketing makes a difference when it comes to brand names and high cost. More expensive is definitely not necessarily better.

A couple of college friends got married and had two children. They noticed something about their son while he was a toddler. Kid just wouldn't stop beating on things around the house. So, they had the little boy tested, and lo and behold, he had musical skills. He grew up, went to Juilliard, and is now an orchestral percussionist.
