What's the guy being kicked out talking about at 16:20? Something about history and burning villages? Could one not argue how their behavior, historically, hearkens to that of the brown shirts in 20's/30's Germany? These people often rely on the hardships of great ancestors to justify their behavior and treatment of those with opposing, or even slightly differing viewpoints.

Thank you for recording this and posting this @BuckleyProgramAtYale, a suggestion as I had a large time hearing the video as the volume keep fluctuating is to use different mics, or actually have attached mics. I don't think i missed anything but it was only because i was modifying my speakers constantly. Thank you

This only hurts, not only the reputation of Yale but all, colleges in the United States. It makes a joke of your standard for students and curriculum. The only ones you have to blame is yourself for allowing this without properly educating your students.

One that will terrify you: Pawlik Morozov. While this story may not be true, it's true that it was used as a model youth for Stalin's propaganda. In a perfect SJW world, children would kill their parents in the name of social justice. Welcome to communism! It finally caught up with you.

+cyshtoph while I agree that trusting the government to teach is not ideal and I think I understand what you are trying to convey I do disagree with your communist statement. I believe that communism can work just not right now. not in a society that is so monetarily driven. imagine a society that has no well based classes has no social issues because everyone is equal and everyone agrees on the path forward. to me current democracy is insanity, democracy is the reoccurring suspicion that more than half the people are right more than half time. and people usually forget history what's democracy correct when it decided to invade Iraq?

I'm on neither side of this debate. We have hyper conservatives taking advantage and enlarging a minority of liberal thinkers. This isn't a systemic or institutional trend. These are very small groups of people with radical and nonsensical outrage at every possible thing. Don't let demagogues like this convince you otherwise, this is not the majority of college campus experiences in America. There are all walks of thought on college campuses. I got approached and questioned about my faith or lack thereof far more than anything else on my campus (and subsequently informed of why I should be apart of the Christian group on campus). People capitalizing on this small sect of liberals are either A) Looking to make money off of a popular media infatuation or B) completely ignorant of what college is actually like. Open your eyes. Many colleges are public. You can walk around them all you want and see what they're really about.

The thing that makes them "dangerous" is the fact that they are dumb, they are loud, and they play the racist card, which no politician wants to touch with a 10 foot pole, so most of the people who are elected in positions of power will most likely tend to agree with them out of fear of being called racist, bigot, anti-x anti-y anti-z

"a minority of liberal thinkers" Liberal doesn't mean illiberal Marxists. "Open your eyes. Many colleges are public. You can walk around them all you want and see what they're really about." The worst part of this is that this stuff takes away from actual progress. There are actual issues with race in this country, even in colleges. This is not an issue though, this is deterring from focus on anything important, and makes people trying to make real change look like jokes.

As a european, this whole movement of trigger-warnings, safe spaces and crazy students, is very, very sad. It seems your universities have completely lost their sense, and forgotten the western values they were built upon. Besides the intellectual meltdown, why are you not defending the heritage of your majority (as off now) white european heritage? Even people of different heritages must be able to see, how the western have transformed the world for the better, though it is not perfect
